#1 Summer done!!! Congrats to the Tigers, Giants, and Angels on winning our Championships this year. Thanks to all our players, coaches, umpires, and families for a great season!!! #2 Fall League Down to a few games in the Seniors. Congrats to Tincaps and Marlins on winning Majors & Sunset this year. #3 Field updates Thanks to coach Brown for killing the growth and to Blake Cowan Excavating for working the infields. Thanks to Coach Smith for all the mowing and trimming all year at the park. #4 More Fall info Since most of you are done now, sign-up to play Winter Ball if you want some weekend activity the next five months. #5 Spare caps and jerseys for SALE Left over caps and jerseys and Power Derby shirts are for sale now for $5 (less than cost). REMEMBER: You do NOT have to own your own bat. #8 Field Prep Thanks to Coach Smith & Blake Cowan we are hoping to continue to maintain and improve the condition of the Optimist fields and will also use Barnhouse as part of the Summer & Fall season. #8 The Sounds of 2025 It’s flower power in the Majors as they visit the 1960’s, Prohibition Era Jazz in the Seniors of the 20’s, and the Sunset gets rock, funk, disco and other 70’s music. #9 Winter Ball Page up now with details and will start doing a pencil list during September and start official registration for year 2 of Winter Ball in October.. #10 Virdon Retro Fantasy League Season 10 around the corner. Draft will come up in late Sept. and will start nightly games by around mid-October. Verifying all owners now.
