Every year we bring together family members of baseball’s greatest names to serve as honorary commissioners to our league. The provide info on their ancestors and follow along as we recreate the eras of their famous relative’s past.

Two of baseball’s great right-handers, Mordecai and Bucky won over 400 games mostly in the National league. Hall of Famer Brown won the World Series twice with the Cubs and an ERA title once. Walters won the World Series once with the Reds and two ERA titles. Brown’s ERA of 2.06 is the sixth lowest career ERA in baseball history. Walters played 184 games as a third baseman, as well as games at second base and in the outfield. Brown achieved the Hall of Fame despite the disfigurement of his pitching hand in a childhood accident that earned him the knick-name “Three Finger”. Walters, while yet to enter the Hall, won a pitching Triple-crown & MVP award in 1939. We are honored to have Scott and Jeff serve this year as our honorary commissioners and hope our players live up to the standards set by their great ancestors!!!
