Two walk-off classics on Monday night!!! Senators earn spot in Majors semis, Highlanders get #1 spot, Browns #2. Superbas, Doves, & Giants battle for final spot on Thursday night. Naps eliminated. In 12 games thus far, Majors’ Series has had 6 upsets, 5 one-run games, one tie, and three two-run games!!!

As we enter Award season…
We have the Power Derby scheduled on the 22nd in the middle of the Series for all players interested in competing. Also have some folks competing in our sports writing contest whose latest submissions you can read on the Leo Cloutier page.
*Important note: Still have some odds and ends of FEES out there to be paid. Get them in!!!

Fall League/Late Summer Camp

Coach Phillips (Athletics), Coach Wagner (Yankees), Coach Smith (Dodgers/BlueJays), Coach O’Neill (Phillies), Coach Clay (Phillies), Coach Coe (Highlanders), Coach Connor (Superbas), Coach Penka (Braves), etc…….
Topics for 2-hour training sessions run by various coaches:
Hitting, Pitching, Base-running, Infielding, Catching, Pick-offs, and more…..some general, some more specific.
15-18 game Derby league uses 1800’s style equipment in a 4 on 4, lob league format similar to that done in Winter Ball the last two years.
All for one low fee!
*Start date is Monday, August 10th and will end on Saturday the 29th. Fridays and Mondays will be 6 to 8 and Saturdays will be 4 to 8 with half camp and half mini-games. (total of 24 hours)
*Fall League is an 8 game schedule in Sept/Oct. and is mostly played on Saturdays and Sundays. New teams are formed in each division (usually 5 or 6 in each Majors & Seniors and 2 in Sunset). Orientation will be on Saturday of Labor Day weekend.
